Things that tweet
Anything with moving parts can tweet, suitably connected to a sensor, microcontroller and the web. Wired features examples of how far this technology has taken civilisation. Apparently toasters and toilets have substantial followings. Having recently experimented with bit.lynow, which gives hourly tweets of the most popular bit.ly bits, I suppose it's possible that following brown toast and loo flushes could, by comparison, be quite enlightening.
