What people read on ebooks
The Guardian reports Nielsen BookScan's data on sales of ebooks compared to all book sales. The top ten data point nicely to the niche role ebooks play. Only one book is common to both lists, Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. The ebooks listing is made up predominantly of detective novels and thrillers. Perhaps not unexpectedly it completely excludes the celeb bios that account for half the mainstream list.
