Before the Labour cabinet's misfortunes hit the headlines last week there was a lot of stuff and nonsense in the UK press about the green-ness of politicians' cars. Most coverage ignored the point that the greenest thing you can do is hang on to the car you've got unless you really need to change it. And even then it may be better to buy a used car than a new one, however green its credentials.
But if you are in the market for a new car you might be swayed by this Honda ad which focuses on sound, an aspect of users' experience that designers have to plan for but which rarely gets such detailed attention in the ads. Thanks to Esteve for this link.
